What is the NCSBN NCLEX-RN exam?
NCLEX-RN is issued by the NCSBN and leads to licensure as a registered nurse. It covers clinical decisions, patient assessment, care coordination, medication administration, and responses to changing patient conditions for licensed bedside practice in clinical settings.
Candidates for RN licensure, including new graduates, take it before working in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health settings. State and territorial nursing regulators in the United States use the result for RN licensure, while employers use that licence when hiring RNs for direct patient-care positions in healthcare organizations.
This course has 8 chapters, one for each official NCLEX-RN domain.
